The persnikkitiness of RSS feeds
As a purveyor of RSS feeds from multiple sources, I can attest to how nasty and non-standardized the RSS format is — even among our hot Web 2.0 comrades. Digg is of course the least reliable, giving all kinds of trouble for our custom RSS feed reader. We’ve had to resort to using feedBlender’s feed blender. But even this will give us trouble. So, for the moment, Digg is down, RSS-wise, despite our best attempts. And in its place we’ve included Clipmarks, that fun and festive social screen grabber. Good times.
